Annual BBQ and General Meeting

On sunday, March 15th 2009 we had our Annual BBQ and General Meeting for year 2009. At first we planned to have our BBQ at Princes Park where we can play some games later, but due to the unpredictable weather, we reckon we should stay somewhere sheltered – College Square Lygon. Thus on the day itself a huge texting frenzy hit us as we were trying to inform as many people as possible for the venue changes.

The menu was, as usual: some bread, sausages, BBQ chicken, potato salad and fruits. Although it was chilling like nobody’s business, we managed to cook (but apparently not fast enough, we turned into MONSTERS when it comes to food!) and made everybody happy *grin*.

After eating, its time to talk talk talk. Azmir was the emcee for the day (because I don’t feel like shouting haha), introducing the new students who just landed to Aussie a few weeks before. Mazlan briefed about our annual activity planner, and Faizal was appointed as the head of dinner committees this year.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.,

Dengan segala sukacitanya, Malaysian Students Deparment of Australia (MSDA) dan Badan Hal Ehwal Islam dan Pembangunan Insan (EHSAN) dengan kerjasama Malaysian Students' Council of Australia (MASCA), Kelab UMNO Australia Melbourne (KUAM), Victoria Malaysians Post Graduate Association (VMPGA), Federation of Australian Muslim Students and Youth (FAMSY), dan Kelab Pelajar Tajaan Petronas Victoria (PETROVIC), ingin menjemput anda semua yang tinggal di sekitar Victoria bersama-sama meraikan majlis sambutan Maulidur Rasul 1430H/2009M.

9:30 pagi Ketibaan para jemputan dan tetamu kehormat

10:00 pagi Majlis bermula – ucapan aluan pengerusi majlis (PETROVIC)

10.10 pagi Bacaan Doa

10:20 pagi Bacaan Al-Quran oleh Qari jemputan

10.30 pagi Ucapan Alu-aluan oleh Presiden Badan EHSAN dan tayangan Badan EHSAN

10:45 pagi Ucapan Alu-Aluan oleh Wakil MSD

10:55 pagi Forum Maulidur Rasul 1430H
